31 Annual Whittemore Memorial Day Parade and Program; Members of the Seely-Walsh Post #423 or the American Legion, Members of the Legion Auxiliary, and members of a local high school band march in an organized parade beginning at 9:45. A powerful and moving memorial day program, dedicated to all men and women who served in the armed forces immediately follows the parade. The program is conducted inside the Whittemore Community Center. Taps, placement of a poppy wreath and an avenue of flags containing over 110 flags of deceased members of Seely-Walsh Post #425 are on display at Noah's Park.
